Admission Requirements

  • Ages 16 and older
  • Have an Opioid Use Disorder
  • Be medically and psychiatrically stable enough to participate in an active program of therapy, counseling, education, and other treatment activities AND
  • Actively involved in or willing to participate in a residential or outpatient treatment program
  • Have Medi-Cal, approved insurance, or the ability to self-pay

As part of a comprehensive treatment plan, Medication-Assisted Treatment is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders, in particular, opioid and alcohol abuse. The medications aid in managing cravings and withdrawal symptoms to reduce instances of relapse and enhance overall recovery.

Under the guidance of our Outpatient Medical Director, an X-Waivered Pediatrician who meets with the clients on a regular basis, we are positioned to provide specialized services, including Medication-Assisted Treatment to adults and youth over the age of 16, at risk of developing or actively using opioids. Medication-Assisted Treatment is available to individuals participating in the following programs:
